Diagnostic Strategies

INTERMITTENT FAILURES
As with most electrical systems, RWAL intermittent failures may be difficult to accurately diagnose. Most intermittent problems are caused by faulty electrical connections or wiring. When an intermittent failure is encountered, check suspect circuitry for the following items:

^ Poor mating of connector halves or terminals not fully seated (backed out) in the connector body.
^ Improperly formed or damaged terminals.
^ Poor terminal-to-wire connections. This requires removing the terminal from the connector for a thorough examination.
^ Loose, corroded or dirty ground connections.
