Lubricate
    Clutch Pedal Assembly
      Lubricate the clutch pedal bushing. Clevis pin and clutch control cable ends.
Inspect/Adjust
    Valve Clearance
      Inspect the valve lash and adjust if necessary.
    Ignition Timing
      Adjust engine timing to underhood label specifications.
    Idle Speed
      Check engine idle speed and adjust it to underhood label specifications.
Inspect
    Universal Joint, Drive/Propeller Shaft
      Inspect for looseness and damage every 15,000 miles or 15 months whichever occurs first. Inspect more frequently if used off-road or for pulling a trailer. Tighten U-joint flange bolts if necessary.
    Timing Belt
      Inspect belt at 60,000 miles, replace at 100,000.
    Power Steering
    Ignition Rotor
      Inspect the inside and outside of the distributor cap and rotor for cracks, carbon tracking and corrosion. Clean or replace as needed.
    Ignition Cable
      Spark plug wire inspection.
    Fuel Tank
      Inspect fuel tank, cap and lines for damage or leaks. Inspect fuel cap gasket for any damage. Replace parts as needed.
    Fuel Supply Line
      Inspect fuel tank, cap and lines for damage or leaks. Inspect fuel cap gasket for any damage. Replace parts as needed.
    Fuel Filter
      Inspect every 30,000 miles or 24 months whichever occurs first.
    Engine
      Inspect the underhood wiring harness for loose connections, chafed wires and damage every 60,000 miles or 60 months whichever occurs first.
    Emission Control Systems
      Inspect emission system hoses and replace as necessary.
    Drive/Propeller Shaft
      Inspect for looseness and damage every 15,000 miles or 15 months whichever occurs first. Inspect more frequently if used off-road or for pulling a trailer.
    Distributor Cap
      Inspect the inside and outside of the distributor cap and rotor for cracks, carbon tracking and corrosion. Clean or replace as needed.
    Brakes and Traction Control
      Inspect the complete system. Inspect brake lines and hoses for proper hookup, binding, leaks, cracks, chafing, etc. Inspect disc pads for wear and rotors for surface condition. Also inspect drum brake linings for wear and cracks. Inspect other brake parts including drums, wheel cylinders, calipers, parking brake, etc. Check parking brake adjustment. A good time to check the brakes is when the wheels are removed for tire rotation. Brakes may need to be inspected more often if driving habits or conditions result in frequent braking.
Replace
    Spark Plug
    Oil Filter, Engine
      Change oil and filter every 7500 miles or 7.5 months, whichever occurs first.
    Fuel Filler Cap
      Inspect fuel cap and replace fuel cap gasket.
    Fluid - M/T
      Replace every 30,000 miles or 30 months whichever occurs first.
    Fluid - Differential
      Rear axle fluid change.
    Engine Oil
      Change oil and filter every 7500 miles or 7.5 months, whichever occurs first.
    Drive Belt
    Brake Fluid
      Drain, refill and bleed the brake system.
    Air Filter Element
Clean/Repack
    Wheel Bearing
      Front wheel bearing repack (or at each brake relining).
Rotate
    Tires
Flush
    Cooling System
      Drain, flush and refill cooling system every 30,000 miles or 30 months whichever occurs first. Clean radiator, condensor, pressure cap and neck. Pressure test the cooling system and pressure cap.
