BASE IDLE SPEED
When the engine is placed in fixed (base) timing mode, the engine should run at 800 RPM. Connecting a jumper from Duty Check Data Link Connector (DLC) cavity "4" to cavity "5," as shown in accompanying image, will place the vehicle in fixed timing mode.
