Stop Lights

Voltage is applied at all times through the STOP HORN Fuse to the normally open contacts of the STOPLAMP SWITCH. When the brake pedal is depressed, the STOPLAMP SWITCH closes and voltage is applied to the Tail/Stoplamps in the LH and RH REAR COMBINATION LAMPS and the CENTER HIGH MOUNT STOPLAMP. Since the lamps are grounded at G400 and G300, the lamps light. Because the Tail/Stoplamps are dual filament, the Stoplamps will operate even if the Taillamps are already on.
