This bulletin updates the 1996-97 Geo Tracker Automatic Transmission 3L3O Diagnosis Section. Update your Service Manual with the following information. The update is as follows:

^ Conditions for setting the DTC have been updated.

^ DTC P0740 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Circuit steps 24 and 25 the "Yes" and "No" columns corrected.

^ Diagnostic Aids updated to include checking the TCC solenoid pipes and seals.

Fluid passage illustration corrected.
