Antenna: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery (-) cable.
2. Radio from instrument panel.
3. Attach a piece of mechanic's wire to antenna cable to aid in the removal and installation of the cable through the A-pillar and instrument panel.
4. Antenna mast screws.

Removing Antenna Cable:

5. Antenna mast from vehicle, guiding mechanic's wire attached to antenna cable through A-pillar.
6. Mechanic's wire from antenna cable. Leave mechanic's wire in A-pillar to aid in antenna installation.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Mechanic's wire to antenna cable.

Installing Antenna:

2. Guide antenna cable and mast through A-pillar with aid of mechanic's wire.
3. Antenna mast screws.
4. Remove mechanic's wire from antenna cable.
5. Radio to instrument panel.
6. Negative (-) battery cable.
