Dome Lamp

Voltage is applied at all times through the TAIL DOME Fuse to the Dome Lamp. The Dome Lamp is grounded through any of the Door Jamb Switches. The Door Jamb Switches, when closed (with door open), complete a ground path for the Dome Lamp when the Dome Lamp Switch is in the DOOR position. With both power and ground supplied, the Dome Lamp will light. The Dome Lamp will remain lit until all the Doors are closed. The Dome Lamp can also be turned ON, while the Doors are closed, by turning the Dome Lamp Switch to the ON position. With the switch in this position, the ground path is completed through the Dome Lamp. The Dome Lamp circuit can be bypassed altogether, by turning the Dome Lamp Switch to the OFF position. By doing this, the Dome Lamp will not light when any door is opened.
