A twist type knob on the end of the light/dimmer/turn signal switch controls the operation of the parking lamps and headlamps.
When either the parking lamps or headlamps are activated, the taillamps, all side marker lamps and license plate lamps also illuminate. When either the parking lamps or headlamps are activated, the instrument panel cluster assembly, heater control unit, radio, cigar lighter, ashtray and the manual selector illumination lamps also illuminate.
