Part Throttle Downshift

POWER (P) SHIFT MODE
At a vehicle speed of 70 km/h (50 mph) with the manual selector in Drive (D) position, the OD switch pressed, and the Power/Normal switch in Power (P) position, quickly press the accelerator pedal to 55% throttle opening (above 1/2 throttle). Verify that:
- Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) releases.
- Transmission immediately downshifts to 3rd gear.

NORMAL (N) SHIFT MODE
At a vehicle speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) with the manual selector in Drive (D) position, the OD switch pressed, and the Power/Normal switch in Normal (N) position, quickly press the accelerator pedal to 55% throttle opening (above 1/2 throttle). Verify that:
- Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) releases.
- Transmission immediately downshifts to 3rd gear.
