Manual Downshift

1. At vehicle speeds of 40-55 mph (64 to 88 km/h) release the accelerator pedal while moving the gear selector to "Second" (2) gear and observe:
- TCC releases
- Transmission downshifts to 2nd gear immediately
- Engine slows vehicle down
2. Move gear selector to "Drive" (D) and accelerate to 25 mph (40 km/h). Release the accelerator pedal while moving the gear selector to "First" (1) gear and observe:
- TCC releases
- Transmission downshifts to 1st gear immediately
- Engine slows vehicle down
