General Description

The horn is located under the hood and is attached to the left side of the radiator core support. The horn is actuated by depressing the horn buttons on the edge of the steering wheel.

Horn operation is controlled by the horn relay.

The location of the horn relay depends on the date of vehicle production:
^ On vehicles produced prior to December 4, 1995, the horn relay is mounted on a bracket which is bolted onto the blower case.
^ On vehicles produced on and after December 4, 1995, the horn relay is mounted on a bracket which is bolted onto the right-hand side of the heater case.
