Rear Case

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

^ Tools Required:
- J 23907 Slide Hammer
- J 29369-1 Output Shaft Bearing Remover
- J 35664 Bearing Installer





1. Rear case oil seal from rear case using J 29369-l with J 23907.





2. Rear case countershaft plug from rear case using J 35664 and hammer.

CLEAN
- Rear case mating surface.

INSPECT
- Rear case for cracks or porosity. Replace as necessary.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

^ Tools Required:
- J 37750 Oil Seal Installer
- J 37758 Countershaft Rear Plug Installer
- J 8092 Driver Handle
- J 36850 Transjel(R) Transmission Assembly Lubricant





1. Rear case countershaft plug into rear case using J 37758 with a J 8092 and hammer.





2. New rear case oil seal into rear case using J 37750 and hammer.
3. Apply J 36850 to the new rear case oil seal lip.
