How to End a Troubleshooting Session
This procedure must be done after any troubleshooting.
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Reset the PCM using one of these methods:
^ Use the OBD II Scan Tool or the Honda PGM Tester, then disconnect the scan tool or PGM tester from the DLC.
^ Disconnect the OBD II Scan Tool or the Honda PGM Tester from the DLC, then reset the PCM by removing the No. 13 fuse in the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box for more than 10 seconds.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
4. Enter the radio code (and navigation system code), reset the preset stations, and set the clock.
5. Start the engine in the [P] or [N] position, and warm it up until engine coolant reaches to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on). Continue to run the engine at idle for more than 5 minutes to calibrate the idle control system on the PCM.
6. To verify that the problem is repaired, test-drive the vehicle for several minutes at speeds over 30 mph (50 km/h) or under the same conditions as those indicated by the freeze data.
