TITLE:
S/M Fix: Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test

APPLIES TO:
2003 Pilot

SERVICE TIP:
You need to fix the the Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test on pages 11-136 and 11-137 of the 2003 Pilot S/M. Here are the details:

- Delete step 2. Renumber steps 3 thru 6 so they're steps 2 thru 5.

- Renumber step 7 so it's step 6. Change the text in the first bullet to read "If the voltage is as specified, go to step 7." Change the text in the second dash under the second bullet to read "poor ground (G502)".

- Renumber steps 8 and 9 so they're steps 7 and 8.

- Renumber step 10 so it's step 9. Change the text in the second bullet to read "If the pointer indicates "F", inspect the fuel gauge sending unit, then go to step 10."

- Renumber steps 11 thru 14 so they're steps 10 thru 13.

- Renumber step 15 so it's step 14. Change the table entry under Float Position from 1/12 to 1/2.
