Lower Arm B
Removal1. Raise the rear of the vehicle, make sure it is securely supported. Remove the rear wheels.
2. Place a floor jack at the connecting point of lower arm B and the knuckle.
3. Remove the flange nut (C) while holding the joint pin (D) with a hex wrench (E), and disconnect the stabilizer link (F) from lower arm B.
4. Remove the three flange bolts (A) and the wheel sensor harness (C) from lower arm B. Do not disconnect the wheel sensor connector.
5. Remove the flange bolt (D) that connects lower arm B and the knuckle.
6. Lower the floor jack gradually.
7. Remove the spring (F), upper spring seat (G), and lower spring seat (H).
8. Remove the self-locking nut (E), adjusting collar (D), and adjusting bolt (C), then remove lower arm B.
Installation
1. Position lower arm B. install the adjusting bolt (C), adjusting collar (D), and loosely install the self-locking nut (E).
2. Install the spring (F), and upper spring seat (G). Align the bottom of the spring and the lower spring seat (H) with lower arm B as shown.
3. Place a floor jack at the connecting point of lower arm B and the knuckle.
4. Raise the jack slowly until you can align the bolt holes of lower arm B and the knuckle, then loosely install the flange bolt (A).
5. Raise the rear suspension with a floor jack to load it with the vehicle's weight.
6. Tighten the flange bolt and self-locking nut on the adjusting bolt to the specified torque values.
7. Install the wheel sensor harness (B).
8. Install the rear wheels.
9. Check the rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if necessary.
