Seats: Description and Operation
How the Circuit WorksDriver's Power Seat
Power is provided at all times through fuses 2 and 4 (in the passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box) to the power seat adjustment switch.
Driver's Power Seat Front Up-Down
When you move the driver's power seat front up-down switch to DOWN, power is supplied to the front up-down motor through the switch. The front up-down motor is grounded through the UP contact of the driver's power seat front up-down switch. The motor will run until you release the switch or the seat reaches the full front down position. The contacts for UP operation of the driver's power seat front up-down switch are wired the opposite way of the DOWN contacts, causing the motor to run in the opposite direction.
Driver's Power Seat Rear Up-Down
Driver's power seat rear up-down operation is similar to the front up-down operation.
Driver's Power Seat Recline
Driver's power seat recline operation is similar to the front up-down operation.
Driver's Power Seat Slide
Driver's power seat slide operation is similar to the front up-down operation.
