05 Pilot Has New Spare Tire Hoist and Wheel Nut Wrench

SERVICE TIP:
The spare tire hoist and the wheel nut wrench on 2005 Pilots aren't the same as the ones you'll find on 2003-04 models. The hoist shaft is now a 4.8 mm penta drive instead of a 19 mm hex drive. The wheel nut wrench also has a special recess in its socket to fit this drive. You must use this wrench to lower or raise the hoist; no other tool will work.



NOTE: The Parts Catalog has wrong P/Ns listed for the spare tire hoist and the wheel nut wrench for the 2005 Pilot. When ordering, use this info instead:
