REPAIR PROCEDURE
NOTE:
^ You will need all of the customer's transmitters for the vehicle. Up to three transmitters can be stored in the keyless receiver memory.
^ It is important to maintain the time limits between the steps. Make sure the doors, the hood, and the tailgate are closed.
1. Remove the transmitter screw and the cover.
2. Replace the module, and reassemble the transmitter. Insert the key into the ignition switch.
3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
4. Within 1 to 4 seconds, press the transmitter lock or unlock button.
5. Within 1 to 4 seconds, turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
6. Do steps 3 through 5 three more times.
7. On the fourth time, do not turn the ignition switch back to LOCK (0). You will hear the door lock actuators activate to confirm that the system has entered the transmitter programming mode.
8. Within 1 to 4 seconds, push the transmitter lock or unlock button to program that transmitter. The door lock actuators activate to confirm that the transmitter code has been stored.
9. Within 10 seconds, press the transmitter lock or unlock buttons on the two additional transmitters. The door lock actuators activate to confirm that the transmitter code has been stored.
10. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and remove the key.
11. Make sure all the transmitters work properly.
