Service Check Connector/Data Link Connector

Engine Control Module / Service Check Connector:

Data Link Connector and SCS Connector (with Shorting Service Connector installed):

SERVICE CHECK CONNECTOR
Located under the far right corner of dashboard, the Service Check Connector is a blue, two pin connector. Its pins can be shorted together to extract codes or to set timing.

DATA LINK CONNECTOR
Located next to the Service Check Connector, the three pin DLC feeds diagnostic information to a properly configured system scan tool. Do not short pins together, vehicle damage may result.
