REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door liner. (Refer to page 20-132 in the the 1998-2000 Accord Service manual for door disassembly procedures.)
2. Remove the armrest, and check it for cracks. If it is cracked, get a replacement armrest.
3. Cut a 10 mm x 330 mm piece of wool felt. Apply the wool felt to the edge of the armrest where it contacts the door liner. (Keep the wool felt off the very outside edges of the armrest for an invisible repair.)
4. Reinstall the armrest onto the door liner, making sure the wool felt is hidden.
5. Reinstall the door liner.
6. Verify the repair by pressing down on the armrest to make sure the squeak is gone.
7. Repeat steps 1 thru 6 on the other side if the other armrest was also squeaking.
