Fuel Pressure Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

Fuel Pressure Sensor




The fuel pressure sensor is located on the fuel pressure regulator P2 and it detects fuel pressure to the injectors. The signal is used to correct the fuel injection period by monitoring fuel pressure. It also detects any abnormality in the fuel pressure.



Fuel Pressure Regulator Switch




The fuel pressure regulator switch is located on the fuel pressure regulator P1. It detects fuel pressure malfunction.
