Hatch Latch and Hatch Opener Actuator Replacement

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body.
- Take care not to bend the cylinder rod.

1. Remove the rear trim panel and cargo box.
2. Remove the hatch latch and hatch opener actuator as shown.




3. Install the hatch latch and hatch opener actuator in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- Make sure the connectors are plugged in properly and the cylinder rod is connected properly.
- Make sure the hatch opens properly and locks securely.
