Hatch Opener Actuator Test

1. Open the hatch and remove the rear trim panel.




2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the hatch opener actuator.
3. Check actuator operation by connecting terminal No. 2 to body ground, and momentarily apply battery voltage to terminal No. 1. The actuator should unlock.
4. If the operation check is not as specified, replace the actuator.
