A-Pillar Exterior Trim Panel ReplacementNOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the body.
- Use a clip remover to remove the clips.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Wear eye protection when removing the rivets with a drill.
- Use a 4 mm (0.16 in.) drill bit to drill out the rivets.
1. Remove the A-pillar exterior trim panel in the numbered sequence.
2. Install the A-pillar exterior trim panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Check for damaged or stress-whitened clips, and replace them with new ones.
- Insert the bottom of the panel to the clip (C) and front fender mounting bolt securely.
- Push the clips into place securely.
