Creep Aid System Solenoid Valve Test
Creep Aid System Solenoid Valves Test
1. Disconnect the connector from the creep aid system solenoid valves A and B.
2. Measure the solenoid valve A resistance between the solenoid valve connector terminals No. 2 and No. 4, and measure the solenoid valve B resistance between terminals No. 1 and No. 3.
Standard: 8 - 24 Ohms
3. If the resistance of either solenoid valve is out of the standard, replace the creep aid system solenoid valves A and B.
4. If the resistance is within the standard, connect the battery positive terminal to solenoid valve connector terminal No. 1, and connect the battery negative terminal to terminal No. 3. A clicking sound should be heard. Connect the battery positive terminal to terminal No. 2, and connect the battery negative terminal to terminal No. 4. A clicking sound should be heard.
5. If no clicking sound is heard, replace creep aid system solenoid valves A and B.
