THIS TSB SUPERSEDES 08-FL-007. ECM UPDATE EVENT #108 HAS BEEN REPLACED BY EVENT #126 FOR THE 2007 3.3L SANTA FE AND THE FINAL CALIBRATION ID HAS CHANGED.

DESCRIPTION:

This bulletin provides the procedure to update the ECM software of some 2007 SANTA FE (CM) 3.3L vehicles, which experience a malfunction indicator lamp illumination with the oxygen sensor-related DTC's P0133 and P0153.

- P0133: O2 sensor circuit slow response (Bank 1 / sensor 1)

- P0153: O2 sensor circuit slow response (Bank 2 / sensor 1)

NOTE:
There are no vehicle performance issues associated with this condition.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
^ Model: 2007 SANTA FE (CM) vehicles equipped with 3.3L engines
^ Applicable vehicle production date range: January 25, 2007 to March 21, 2007.

NOTE:
To verify the vehicle is affected, check the version of the vehicle's control unit ROM ID with reference to the ROM ID Information Table below before attempting to update the control unit software.
