DESCRIPTION:





This bulletin provides a procedure to re-secure the windshield molding by applying urethane between the molding and the windshield.

SANTA FE (CM)





TOOLS/PARTS INFORMATION

SERVICE PROCEDURE:

1. Clean the back of the molding and windshield mounting flange area with a clean cloth.





2. Apply windshield urethane to the body where the molding was loose. Ideal bead height should contact the back side of the windshield glass, but not be any higher.

3. Carefully position the molding onto the windshield glass, assuring that the molding is positioned straight and it is fully seated to the glass.





4. Inspect the repair area for any urethane which may have contaminated exterior painted surfaces and clean if necessary.
