RECEIVER HITCH MOUNTED BICYCLE RACK
(CAMPAIGN 081)
DESCRIPTION:
Thule, Inc. manufactured Expressway 995 and 996 receiver hitch mounted bicycle racks that were sold under the Hyundai brand during the 2005-2007 time period are being recalled because a pinch point exists between the bike arm bracket and the upright assembly. This condition has the potential to cause severe personal injury, including laceration or amputations to the user's fingertips or hand when the bike arm bracket is moved to its down position. Because this could happen without warning, owners must stop using the rack immediately. At all times, hands and fingers must be kept away from the area between the bike arm bracket and the upright assembly.
