Component Inspection

1. Check door clutch
1. Ignition "OFF" & engine "OFF"
2. Disconnect door clutch
3. Connect (+) terminal of battery to sensing terminal of door clutch and (-) terminal to ground terminal of door clutch.




4. Dose the door clutch work properly ?
YES
1) Go to "PTG module" procedure.
NO
1) Substitute with a known-good drive unit and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace drive unit and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

NOTE:
** It is impossible to change door clutch separately. So it is changed by drive unit when change is necessary.

2. Check PTG module
1. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF"
2. Operate the door clutch "ON" status.
3. Measure the voltage between power terminal for door clutch of PTG module and chassis ground.
A. Specification :Approx. : above 0.5V




4. Dose the door clutch work properly ?
YES
1) Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Substitute with a known-good "PTG module" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "PTG module" and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
