OIL FILTER COMPLETE ASSEMBLY AND OIL FILTER SERVICE KIT INTERCHANGEABILITY

DESCRIPTION:

This bulletin provides information regarding changes in the oil filter complete assembly and corresponding engine oil filter service kits necessary for oil and filter change service.

APPLICABLE VEHICLE:
^ 2008MY and later Veracruz 3.8L produced from October 4, 2007

PARTS INFORMATION: ENGINE OIL FILTER SERVICE KIT

INTERCHANGEABILITY:

^ When replaced as a complete assembly, the previous oil filter complete assembly (P/N 26300-3C200) is interchangeable with the new assembly (P/N 26300-3C300).

^ The previous engine oil filter (P/N 26320-3C100) is NOT interchangeable with the new filter (P/N 26320-3C250).

^ When replacing the oil filter element using the applicable service kit, be sure to also replace the 0-rings (included in both oil filter service kits) and the oil plug gasket (included with P/N 26320-3C250).
