Catalytic Converter: Description and Operation

PURPOSE/OPERATION
The three way catalytic converter is used to convert hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and oxides of nitrogen in the exhaust gas, to carbon dioxide, dinitrogen and water vapor.
