With Multi-Use Tester (MUT)

1. Turn OFF the ignition switch.





2. Connect the scan tool to the data link connector on the coin box.
3. Connect the power-source terminal of the scan tool to the cigarette lighter socket.
4. Turn ON the ignition switch.
5. Select 4. "SPECIAL TEST" from the function selection menu of the scan tool.
6. Then select Item No.5 "ERASE DIAG".
7. Press the YES key when "ERASE DIAG. CODE?" is displayed.
8. Enter ID code "39".
9. Press the CLEAR key when "FINISHED ERASING DIAG. CODE" is displayed.
10. Read the self-diagnosis output and check output of correct code.
11. Disconnect the scan tool.
