Battery Precautions

BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
1. Never use a battery charger/booster which has a voltage rating above 12 volts to start engine.
2. Always ensure the battery is properly connected to the vehicle prior to attempting to start engine.
3. Never disconnect the battery when the engine is running, damage to the computer or charging system may result.
4. When charging a battery, be sure both battery cables are disconnected.
5. Avoid creating sparks near battery. The battery contains acid and produces hydrogen an, explosive gas.
