CAUTION
1. Never attempt to disassemble or repair the air bag module or clock spring.
2. Do not drop the air bag module or allow contact with water, grease or oil. Replace it if a dent, crack, deformation or rust are detected.
3. The air bag module should be stored on a flat surface and placed so that the pad surface is facing upward. Do not place anything on top of it.
4. Do not expose the air bag module to temperature over 93C° (200°F).
5. An undeployed air bag module should only be disposed of in accordance with the correct procedures.
1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal cable.
Caution: Wait at least 30 seconds.
2. Remove the glove box.
3. Disconnect the PAB module connector.
4. Remove the dash pad assy.
5. Remove the PAB module.
Caution:
1. Never attempt to disassemble or repair the air bag module.
2. Never attempt to measure the circuit resistance, of the air bag module (squib) even if you are using the specified tester. If the circuit resistance is measured with a tester, accedental air bag deployment will result in serious personal injury.
