Leak Detection Valve: Description and Operation

LEAK DETECTION VALVE-[CANISTER CLOSE VALVE (CCV)]
The canister close valve is an ON/OFF type valve which controls the inner pressure of fuel tank (caused by fuel evaporation). The CCV is used in conjunction with the leak detection sensor-(fuel tank pressure sensor) to test the integrity of the EVAP system. The CCV closes the evaporative system and the OBD II system monitors fuel tank pressure via the leak detection sensor-(fuel tank pressure sensor).
