Fuel Accumulator: Testing and Inspection

No testing procedures for the fuel accumulator are available from the manufacturer at this time. A general rule of thumb is if any of the following symptoms are observed, and there are not other reasons for the condition, the accumulator is probably at fault:

1. Excessive fuel pump noise.
2. Vapor lock
3. Pressure pulsations (observed on the gauge) during fuel pump pressure test.
