NEW ADDITIONAL REMANUFACTURED TRANSAXLE VENDOR

DESCRIPTION:

Hyundai Motor America has authorized an additional vendor to remanufacture automatic transaxles. This vendor can be distinguished by the label on the transaxle, a large "WT" stamped on the torque converter housing, and by the new part number prefix "00258".

If an operational condition is found with a transaxle from this vendor, please complete the following steps:

1. Confirm that the warranty claim is assigned to the correct part number, "00258-XXXXX". This will distinguish the new vendor from the existing vendor, which uses the prefix "00248".

2. Notify your Regional Tech Line by fax or phone. Provide them with the transaxle part number, VIN, transaxle serial number and symptom.

3. Enclose a copy of the Repair Order in the plastic envelope with the Core Return Checklist and place in the shipping carton with the transaxle.
