Accumulator HVAC: Testing and Inspection

It will be necessary to replace the accumulator for the following reasons.

1. The accumulator is restricted, plugged or perforated.
2. The system has been left open for more than 24 hours. (system completely discharged)
3. There is evidence of moisture in the system.
4. A component such as a condenser, evaporator core, refrigerant line or compressor that has seized is replace.
