Heater Core Case: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
3. Remove the heater hoses and drain hose.
4. Remove the suction hose and the liquid tube to dash panel.
5. Lower crash pad glove box.
1. Remove the under cover.
2. Remove the lower crash pad glove box.
6. Floor console.
1. Remove the console upper cover plate.
2. Remove the console upper cover assembly.
3. Disconnect the connectors.
4. Remove the floor console.
7. Lower crash pad center facia panel.
1. Remove a screw
2. Using the screwdriver, pry out the facia panel
3. Disconnect the connectors
4. Remove the lower crash pad center facia panel
8. Remove the radio and disconnect the connectors.
9. Remove the center crash pad panel.
10. Remove the lower crash pad panel assembly.
11. Remove the console mounting bracket and the center support bracket.
12. Remove the rear heating duct assembly (LH/RH) and the rear heating joint duct.
13. Remove the control assembly.
14. Remove the heater assembly.
INSTALLATION
Installation is the reverse order of removal procedures.
