Painting

1. If replacing the panel, lightly scuff sand the panel. If the panel was repaired, lightly scuff the area not sanded.

2. Thoroughly clean the sunroof panel with a wax and grease remover such as PPG, BASF or equivalent described in this TSB.

3. Apply primer surfacer over the sanded area and allow to dry.

4. Finish sanding any imperfections as necessary.

5. Paint color and clear coats over the remainder of the panels, following the manufacturer's recommendation procedures. Be sure to include the underside of the panel.
