1999-2001 SONATA 2.4L I4 WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION (MTM) STARTER CHANGE
DESCRIPTION:
The Starter Part Number for 1999-2001 Model Year Sonata vehicles with 2.4L I4 and Manual Transmissions has been changed twice during since the start of production.
The latest change (effective 5/24/00) was made to incorporate a "Dual Mass" Clutch System.
NOTE:
The starters are NOT interchangeable. If the incorrect starter is used, damage to the hardware will occur.
The table shows the application part number and effective production dates.
