Rear Bumper: Service and Repair

REAR BUMPER

REMOVAL

[SEDAN]

1. Remove the license plate lamp.

2. Remove the rear transverse trim and loosen the rear luggage trim.

3. Remove the rear combination lamp.

4. Remove the rear bumper cover mounting bolts and nuts.

5. Loosen the wheel guard mounting screws and tapping screw in the rear bumper cover to body.

6. Remove the rear bumper cover mounting retainers.

7. Remove the rear bumper rail.

Tighten torque 25-30 N.m

REMOVAL

[WAGON]

1. Remove the rear combination lamp.

2. Remove the rear bumper cover retainers.

3. Remove the rear wiper washer reservoir tank.

4. Remove the rear bumper side mounting bolt (2EA) and nut (1EA).
(Quarter panel inner lower side)

5. Remove the bumper side mounting screw (2EA) and bolt (1EA).

6. Remove the rear bumper rail mounting bolt (2EA).

Tightening torque 25-30 N.m (250-300 kg.cm, 18.0-21.6 lb.ft)

INSTALLATION

1. Installation is the reverse of removal.
