DESCRIPTION:
Ice build-up on the rear door latch and lock cables may cause 2001 model Elantra rear doors to not open after being parked overnight or for an extended period of time in cold temperatures.
To correct this condition a redesigned rear door module and cable kit may be installed using the replacement procedure outlined in this bulletin.
