Tightening Torque








TIGHTENING TORQUE






Cylinder Head


Intake Manifold
Install the intake manifold and new gasket to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Bolt 15 - 20 Nm (150 -120 kg-cm, 11 - 14 ft. lbs.)
Nut 30 - 42 Nm (300 - 420 kg-cm, 22 - 30 ft. lbs.)


Camshaft Bearing Cap





Tighten the bearing caps to the specified torque in two or three increments as shown.
Tightening torque 19 - 21 Nm (190 - 210 kg-cm, 14 - 15 ft. lbs.)


Main Bearing Caps
Tighten the cap bolts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque 25 Nm (250 kg-cm, 18 ft. lbs.) + (90°)
Cap bolts should be tightened evenly in 4 to 5 increments before they are tightened to the specified torque.


Connecting Rod Cap
Tighten the connecting rod cap nuts.
Tightening torque 20 Nm (200 kg-cm, 14 ft. lbs.) + 90°


Crankshaft Pulley
Tightening Torque 160 - 170 Nm (1600 - 1700 kg-cm, 116 - 123 ft. lbs.)


Flywheel
Tightening Torque 130 - 140 Nm (1300 - 1400 kg-cm, 94 - 101 ft. lbs.)


Drive Plate
Tightening Torque 130 - 140 Nm (1300 - 1400 kg-cm, 94 - 101 ft. lbs.)


Oil Pump Cover
Tightening Torque 15 - 18 Nm (150 - 180 kg-cm, 11 - 13 ft. lbs.)


Exhaust Manifold
Tightening Torque
M8 25 - 30 Nm (250 - 300 kg-cm, 18 - 22 ft. lbs.)
M10 35 - 55 Nm (350 - 550 kg-cm, 25 - 40 ft. lbs.)


Coolant Pump
Tightening torque 20 - 27 Nm (200 - 270 kg-cm, 14 - 20 ft. lbs.)
