Parking Brake Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

PARKING BRAKE SWITCH

1. Check that there is continuity between the terminal and switch body with the switch ON (Foot brake pedal is depressed).
2. Check that there is no continuity between the terminal and switch body with the switch OFF (Parking brake release cable knob is pulled).

If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch or inspect its ground connection.
