Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair

REAR DOOR LATCH REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the following items.
- Door trim.
- Door trim seal.
- Inside handle.
- Inside lock rod cover.
- Channel.

2. Disconnect the out side handle rod (A), connector (B).
3. After loosen the latch mounting bolts, remove the latch assembly (C).






4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Make sure the door lock and opens properly.
- If the door trim seal is damaged, it must be replaced.
