Starting System - Starter Shroud Hole Information

STARTER SHROUD HOLE ON 2006 SONATA WITH 3.3L ENGINE

MODEL: 2006 SONATA 3.3L

DESCRIPTION:

2006 Sonata vehicles equipped with 3.3L V6 engines may have a slotted hole on the bottom surface of the stamped starter shroud just above the engine oil pan near the right front of the vehicle. This condition is normal and it does not affect vehicle operation. No action is required to fill the hole.





NOTE:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ADD A BOLT OR OTHER COMPONENT TO FILL THE HOLE.
