B1210 Front Left Sensor Fault - W/Harness Inspection
Terminal and Connector Inspection
1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?
Power Circuit Inspection
1. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
2. Measure the power voltage of "Front Left Sensor". (FBWS side)
Specification : Approx. 8 V
3. Is the signal output normal?
Ground Inspection
1. IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
2. Measure voltage between power and ground terminal of front left sensor.
Specification : Approx. 8 V
3. Is the signal output normal?
TX, RX line of front left sensor check
1. KEY "OFF".
2. Disconnect FBWS unit and front left sensor connector.
3. Measure resistance of TX, RX line between FBWS unit and front left sensor harness connector.
Specification : Approx. 1 Ohms
4. Is measured value normal?
