B1592 Head lamp Switch Fault - Component Inspection

Component Inspection

Head lamp (LOW) Relay Check
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect Front Area Module connector.
3. Ignition "ON".
4. Measure voltage between Head lamp switch signal terminal of Front Area Module harness connector and and chassis ground.

Specification : B+




5. Is "voltage" display near the specified value?





Front Area Module and Multi-function switch Check
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Connect Front Area Module connector.
3. Ignition "ON".
4. Measure voltage for headlamp switch, When switch "ON" and "OFF".

Specification : Head lamp switch "ON" approx, 0 V, Head lamp switch "OFF": B+




5. Is "voltage" display near the specified value?
