W/Harness Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness and terminals. Faults can also be caused by interference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?






Signal Circuit Inspection

Check Open signal circuit
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect Front Area Module connector and head lamp (low) relay.
3. Ignition "ON".
4. Measure voltage between Head lamp switch signal terminal of Front Area Module harness connector and and chassis ground.
5. Measure voltage between Head lamp switch signal terminal of head lamp (low) relay harness connector and and chassis ground.

Specification : 2 - 6 V




6. Is "voltage" display near the specified value?
